(The Green House), Circa 1910, was the family mansion of Don Carlos Saborio - Yglesias, a famous and influential figure in Costa Rican history. We are a National Historic Site and currently serve as a Deluxe - Victorian Private Inn with a return to the charm and ambiance of Turn of the Century living.

Celia Jr. Suite -- Opening onto our garden Patio, this authentically restored Jr. Suite has a separate Living Room, Large Bath, Terrazzo floors and Custom Decor. Excellent for extended stays.

Yglesias Deluxe Room -- Spacious inside room with large windows. 2 full-sized double-beds, large tiled - bath, Custom Decor, beautiful hardwood floors and Antiques. Comfortable, quiet and private.

Odilia Family Room -- King-size bed and 2 single beds. Extra large and opens onto Garden Patio. Specially furnished for families (Maximum 5) or 2 couples. Quiet inside room with big Windows.

Upper floor mansion

Don Carlos Suite -- King-size Canopy-Bed. Very large Living Room with Conference - Table, Mini Snack - Bar, 14' Ceilings, many Antiques and Custom Decor. Our Executive Honeymoon Suite, Romantic, Charming, Incredibly Comfortable and Irresistible. The pride of La Casa Verde.

Saborio Suite -- King-size Canopy-Bed. 14' Ceilings, Living Room, Custom decor, Wicker Furniture, Mini-Snack-Bar, Study-Table and many Antiques. Very Comfortable and spacious.

Rosa Family Room -- Beautifully restored 2 bedrooms. One with Queen-size bed and the other with 2 single Antique beds. 14' Ceilings and large bath with clawfoot tub and period fixtures. Opens to Upper - Floor Interior Patio. (Ideal for 3 persons, 2 couples or family of 4).

Amalia Deluxe Room -- Restored bath with Clawfoot-tub. Settee Area with Queen - size Canopy Bed. Opens to Upper - Floor Interior Patio. Can connect with Don Carlos Suite for 2 couples or Groups.
